Troy Chamber of Commerce

Sixteen of Troy’s finest dining establishments will welcome diners with open arms March 21-26 for Troy Restaurant Week. Sponsored in partnership with the Troy Chamber of Commerce, the week-long dining celebration will feature 3-course lunch specials for $15 per person and 3-course dinner specials for $30 person, Sunday-Friday at participating restaurants.

The spring line up of restaurants includes: Benihana, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Charley’s Crab, Crumpets Restaurant, Kona Grill, Kruse & Muer on Wilshire, La Marsa, Loccino Italian Grill & Bar, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood , Mon Jin Lau, Morton's The Steakhouse, Ocean Prime, Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Capital Grille, The Melting Pot of Troy, and Tre Monti Ristorante.

New this spring is a dedicated website, www.troyrestaurantweek.com. The site lists participating restaurants, featured menus, directions and reservation information.  Also, there is information about the charity element built in to this year’s event.

While diners are filling their plates, the restaurants hope to fill the plates of those in need in the community. They have teamed up with Gleaners Community Food Bank of SE Michigan to hold a canned food drive throughout the week. Donation envelopes will also be available for monetary contributions.

Gleaners will be collecting all non-perishable food and are especially encouraging donors to give canned fruit and canned proteins such as peanut butter, tuna, salmon and beef stew. Checks payable to Gleaners Community Food Bank are also welcome. Ninety-five cents of each $1.00 donated goes to food and food programs. Donors writing checks will receive a letter that may be used for tax purposes.

Troy Restaurant Week will be repeated this summer—August 22-27.  For more information, visit www.troyrestaurantweek.com.
